New mines? He is here to your rescue. His advice a day, keeps sick mines away! For people it might be experience, for Mr. Anwar Sheikh, 46 years of rigorous mine surveying has been love. This mining geologist and consultant has visited several countries including Libya, Sultanate of Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zambia, Tanzania, Mozambique, Namibia, Vietnam, Bhutan, Turkey, Italy, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and India for surveying and production planning of dimensional stones. His main focus comprises of approval of virgin areas, planning, development and production of new as well as working mines, suggestion of machinery and manpower for the same and revival of sick mines. He has been also involved in opening and surveying of granite mines in Chohattan area of M.P., Idar, Gujarat and certain parts of Rajasthan.

Chronologically, Mr. Sheikh has worked with Ghariyan Municipality, Libya, Al Wafa marble in Hamriya free zone, Sharjah, SVIL mines, Katani, M.P., Chishte Shareef Herat, Afghanistan for planning and development of equity capital mines, Damodar Valley Corporation for the surveying for granites and marble in Mozambique and Sri Lanka , and has been involved in the geological surveying of all major mountains in Sultanate of Oman and for graphite in Bolangir (Orissa). Along with Oman, Yemen, Saudia, UAE for site selection of marble and limestone, he has also visited Vietnam, Carara (Italy), Turkey, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia for selection and survey of virgin marble areas.
